7 Characteristics of A Mature Disciple was a large campaign which is still running at Providence Church in Frisco, Tx (as of 2025). When the Communication Director contacted me for the project, I knew these seven characteristics were going to be difficult to visualize but I was up for the challenge.
The icons that represent each characteristic of a mature disciple became the foundation of this campaign design. Their structure came from the concept that disciples of Christ are like flowers and that these characteristics help the disciple bloom. After hours of sketching and ideating, eventually the flower was reduced down to its most basic form. A diamond.
